Where stories become adventures

My books are imaginative and visual, created to pull children straight into the heart of the story. They’re full of colour, atmosphere, and little details that invite kids to pause, look closely, and spot something new each time. These are stories to read together, talk about afterwards, and happily return to again and again. I write imaginative, visual stories for children.
I’m drawn to colour, atmosphere, and the small details that invite children to slow down and look more closely. My books are designed to feel immersive and thoughtful, creating space for curiosity, imagination, and quiet moments of connection.
These are stories made to be shared, talked about, and returned to, offering children worlds they enjoy exploring again and again.
Some of my books are cosy adventures you can sink into. Others let readers choose their way through the story and see what happens next.

I love stories that children want to climb into, poke around in, and come back to because something new always seems to be waiting.

I’m drawn to colour, movement, mischief, and moments that make kids laugh, gasp, or say, “Wait… read that again.”

Stories made with care, colour, and heart

Michelle Grabler

I’m a children’s author and the creator of Seek the Treasure.
Before writing books, I worked across creative industries as a dancer, performer, and creative, including work in film and fashion. I’ve always been drawn to colour, imagination, and the joy that comes from expression and play.
After having children, that same creative instinct naturally shifted into making games, stories, and experiences for them. Seek the Treasure and my books grew out of that, combining imagination, fun, and a belief that creativity helps children feel confident being themselves.

These books are made for shared moments. For reading together, talking about what you notice, and letting a story linger a little longer than expected. I believe the most memorable stories are the ones that feel personal, warm, and quietly magical.
I live in Australia with my family, and I write these stories with children in mind who love to look closely, imagine deeply, and feel at home inside a book.
